Virtual Motion Dance Company led by Artistic Director Helen Smith was established in Newcastle upon Tyne eight years ago. The company are based at Dance City the national dance agency for the north east of England . The company has built up strong regional, national and international links.

 

The Company provide the following:

• Mentoring service for graduate dance students
• Inset teacher training
• Education workshops from primary to degree level
• Community Dance programmes
• Touring of professional performances

 

Artistic Director Helen Smith has choreographed for theatre, television, festivals. Working alongside arts organisations, local authorities, choreographers, musicians and visual artists.
