Virtual motion have a strong team of dance artists who provide high quality participation and performance opportunities for groups and individuals. The company have worked alongside many different organisations both in performance and in their education programme.

Great North Run Project (04)

Working with Custom Build the arts development agency for North and South Tyneside . Working with 5 schools and 160 children to create an amazing dance performance, which was then presented at the finish line of the Great North Run televised by the BBC.


Virtual Motion returned to the Sage Gateshead 2005 to celebrate 25 years of the Great North Run presenting a performance by 40 school children alongside Alan Clark the keyboards player from Dire Straits, and Film Nova as part of the grand finale

 

 

Dragonfly

Virtual Motion worked in partnership with Creative Partnerships Durham Sunderland, Wayne Macgregor and Random Dance, Dance City , Tin Productions and the National Glass Centre. This partnership created an outstanding performance for 100 children (on the glass centre roof) through an education programme of workshops.
